Engagement Details
In the Engagement Details section, you can update key information about various aspects of the engagement. The fields displayed in each section are configurable and what is displayed in your system may differ from the key fields described below:
Engagement Details

Name - The name that identifies the engagement throughout Dayshape, including the Gantt and in reporting.

Location - The location where the engagement work will take place.

Business Unit - The business unit that will carry out the work.

Priority - the priority sets the urgency for the engagement and can be chosen from the range of priorities defined for your business

Parent - optional field that can be set if this engagement has a parent engagement group.
Financial Details

Rate Type - the rate type indicates the rate that teams can charge for engagements and can be chosen from the range of rates defined for your business

Rates Override - subject to configuration (and user permission), Rates Override allows the optional definition of rates for specific resources involved with this engagement
Time Frame

Period End Date - the date on which all planned engagement activity ends

Recurring - this check-box (if selected) indicates that this engagement repeats year on year. This can be configured to be automatically set as recurring for all newly created engagements. Recurring engagements can be reported in the Engagement Listing report using the Recurrence filter within Engagement Resource Requirement Management section.
Client Details

Client Name - this is a free-form field that can be used to associate the engagement with a client name. The Client Name is displayed on the Engagement page and is used for reporting purposes, however this is a legacy field and will be phased out in the future (and superseded by the ‘Client’ field below)

Client Identifier - the unique identifier (code) for the engagement client

Client - this is the engagement client and must be chosen from existing clients already set up on the system
Personnel
The fields in this section, some of which are optional, capture the key personnel associated with the engagement and the level to which they capture, for example primary and secondary managers (Engagement Partner and Alt Engagement Manager) are configured for your business by your System Administrator.
Other
The fields in this section are custom fields configured for your business by your System Administrator.
