On-demand Automation enhancements

Previously, On-demand Automation defaulted to week availability granularity when searching for suitable resources. As part of the wider, ongoing project to improve the operational accuracy of On-demand Automation, we now map to the user’s current availability granularity as set (to Day or Week) in their Gantt settings.

An example of how this improves assignment effectiveness is that if you attempted to assign a day long booking to a resource who already had a day long booking, in day granularity, this would cause an over utilisation; but not in week granularity. Hence with the Day granularity setting you will get an exception, whereas with a Week granularity setting, you’ll get an assignment.
