Visual enhancements to the Main Gantt

We have introduced a range of visual enhancements that improve the operational effectiveness of the Main Gantt:

• Now/Today line – This is now more conspicuous, i.e. bolder and orange, and extends to the unassigned booking panel.

• Unit and resource separator row colours – All unit rows that appear as separators between resource rows are now much lighter in colour so as not to dominate the user’s Gantt view. The visual emphasis is now on the Gantt content.

• Unit row text now capitals – The text that identifies the unit rows now consists entirely of capital letters to assist users to more easily differentiate between unit rows and resource rows.

• Date column header text – The font has been changed on the date column header text to make it easier to read in most common Gantt zoom levels.

Additionally, to simplify a users’ view, we have removed the grey overlay that used to indicate ‘time in the past’.
